So I just read the NME's top 100 British albums of all time list (edit: here).

I do realize that getting mad at this list is roughly as charitable for getting angry at your 95-year-old grandfather for drooling all over his shirt, but wow that is some bullshit.

umm i havent really heard much from the artic monkeys but something so new as that canNOT be in the top 5.
Horrible list, but terrific fodder for ILM nonetheless. I think the title of the album speaks for itself...
this arctic monkeys bullshit is the most generic guitar rock ever. i don't understand the appeal. i guess they're like the UK Clap Your Hands Say Yeah because they were some sort of internet success before they reached rock-god status, but whatever the music is BORING.
